Looking for Band 5 Nurses with a minimum of 12 months post-reg experience to work within the Local Trusts.
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may ultimately be required to demonstrate procedures to and
supervise other qualified/unqualified staff.
KEY DUTIES/RESPOSIBILITES
1-Responsible for planning, assessing and evaluating individual programmes of nursing care and ensuring that patient care is carried out to an agreed standard.
2-Ensure that accurate nursing records are maintained.
3-Communicate with patients, relatives and give guidance, support and advice as required.
4-Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and Community Services to ensure Continuity of Care.
5-Accept responsibility for his/her own continuing professional development.
6-Maintain an awareness of clinical and professional developments in nursing and participate in nursing research to enhance patient care.
7-Comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice.
